Cutest Cowboy...

Today my little Caillou competed in, and won his first competition. Our town is having a rodeo, and as part of the festivities, a cutest cowboy contest was held for the kids, along with stick horse racing, bull riding, and roping. Caillou had so much fun, and was so cute that he took home the prize for cutest cowboy in his age division. Mommy was quite proud, he even went up on stage and sang "You are my sunshine". When he wins a prize for cuteness, and serenades rodeo fans, it is hard to be mad at him for how naughty he was today... running around in circles and disobeying my every command. I was very frazzled and exhausted by his wild and zany misbehaving! Thank goodness the rodeo had apple pie... that is just what Caillou and I needed to end our tiring afternoon at the rodeo.

  1. Oh yay! He sure looks cute in that picture! So happy he got first place! Apple pie.... mmmm!

  2. How wonderful he won! That must have been an exciting day. Hope you had your video camera with you.

  3. Oh he is so cute! Of course he won. I am glad that the two of you had fun. I hope the newspaper took pictures.

My yesterday was awful!! My garbage disposer backed up and went into some drain pipe and overflowed and flooded the laundry room. I spent hours cleaning it up. Kimberly came over and looked for the problem and Bob had to come over last night to help Papa tilt the washing machine forward to get the water out from underneath. A messy day to say the least!!!

The silver lining to this cloud is, my floor is sparkly clean.

    Have fun today.

  4. Congratulations to your sweet little cowboy...he is so adorable! Sounds like it was a very fun time for all....
Have a blessed Lord's day Ashley and thank you so much for your comment on my post. It brought me much comfort.....

  5. Your little guy makes me smile. Boys do have lots of energy. Have you ever heard the saying "A tired puppy is a good puppy."? So true for boys too.

  6. i love it!! He is one cute cowboy, if I were the judge I would have voted for him too!
