My boys are quite rough on their car seats. Okay, and maybe they have a mama who fed them far too many snacks in their car seats. A mother that made a few too many trips with Grandma to the bakery and bought cookies with far too much frosting for two little boys to eat in their car seats. Two little boys who enjoyed spitting a bit to much in their car seats, and regurgitating french fries. So.... I got into my fabric stash and pulled out some of my flannels, took the car seats out of the car, brought out my seam ripper, and got to work. The boys love their new car seats and take turns switching back and forth between sitting in the "monster" seat and the "rainbow" seat. Mommy has established some new car rules... no snacks in the back seat!!! Still working on getting them to stop having spitting contests with eachother....

ReplyDeleteYour handy work...truly amazes me Ashley...you are one talented young lady...did Boo Bah teach you your sewing skills? Most mothers these days would just do away with the old and get new....but,you on the other hand..make do...which is so much more resourceful and economical...your husband should be very proud to have such a fine wife and mother to his precious little ones...blessings on your week sweetie....
